Message: I met Richard on many occasions whilst mechanicing for various people on the Irish roads and the IOM.
And like many people I'll always remember him as one of the most spectacular racers of our generation, but for me and anyone who ever got to meet him off the bike it was his ever present smile and laughter that we'll remember and miss the most.
Four months on and its still hard to beleive hes gone.
My love and best wishes to Maria and Loris for the new year, we are all thinking of you.

Message: Never got to see Richard racing, first hand, only on the TV. One thing that always struck me was that the commentators always seemed to like interviewing him. Obviously they thought he was a nice guy. I guess he is with the other 'high speed comedians' now....

Message: I stopped and helped Paul & Dermot the day of the accident. I have spent time with Dermot and his family since the accident and on last friday had the pleasure of going to Boho. In a short space of time i have learned so much about racing from Maria & Paudie Green & have built a fantastic friendship that i hope will always remain. So to finish off i want to send my condolences to Mrs Britton & Loris who Maria has told me so much about. To Dermot & the rest of the family use are in my thoughts always. See you all New Years day.
