| Message: Almost 2 years have passed and my many memories of Richard are still as clear as yesterday, like the day i went over to his camp at the 2004TT, Richard was not his usual smiling self,when he seen me,he came straight over and i asked him if he was having problems with the bikes, no, he replied, it's these new gloves i've got, they're hurting me. I took a run round on a road bike,but it hasn't helped, this was the first and sadly the only time i ever heard Richard 'complain'. He was 'The Peoples Champion' who must be remembered for evermore. |

| Message: Was at the memorial service last night and still find it hard to take in, its hard to believe that just over a year ago we all came together to say farewell to a much loved son, husband and father who touched so many hearts. We paid our respects and shed many a tear for Richard and his muched loved family who now have a place in all our hearts. Rest in peace M#8 you will never be forgotten EVER. |
